📣 G.D. DIREITO SPORTS COMPLEX TO HOST THE JUNIOR 7s 2026 – 93 TEAMS CONFIRMED! 📣- Youth Rugby Sevens Tournament

The Junior 7s continues to grow and establish itself as the biggest youth rugby tournament in Portugal. The 2026 edition brings exciting news: in addition to the usual boys’ U14, U16, and U18 tournaments, the event will, for the first time, feature girls’ competitions in the U16 and U18.
📍 To accommodate this growth, the organization has decided to expand from the Tapada Sports Complex to include the G.D. Direito Sports Complex in Monsanto. With a total of five pitches located a short distance apart, the tournament will welcome 93 teams from 18 countries – including the United Arab Emirates, the USA, Canada, Belgium, England, Scotland, Wales, Gibraltar, the Netherlands, Monaco, Germany, Spain, France, and, of course, Portugal.

Direito Sports Complex, the teams’ experience will be even better in 2026. We already had the privilege of hosting the Junior 7s at the historic Agronomia Sports Complex in Tapada da Ajuda, and now, by combining the two best rugby facilities within the same tournament, we’re taking the event to the next level.”
